FAQ

How does S&I Insights work?

When clients come to us with projects, we set off to find the best fit. This might include an individual's industry experience, tool/service buying history, knowledge about technology, or more. We match our clients with experts that meet their acceptance criteria. The general steps:

1. Our's expert will reach out about a project that may be a good fit

2. If you're interested, you can take the qualifying screener (usually 5-10 minutes)

3. Our's expert will reach out when you're selected for a project and help schedule it with the client

4. Once the call is completed, you'll receive an email about payment options

5. Your funds will be sent to you directly

Why did S&I Insights get in touch with me?

When we believe your professional experience is valuable and may be of interest to one of our clients, you’ll receive a direct call or message from S&I Insights. No matter your professional background, your knowledge is unique and may be particularly helpful for our clients. The goal of our initial outreach is to introduce what we do over the phone and mutually determine whether there’s an opportunity to work together.

How is my personal data and privacy protected?

We handle your data with the utmost care and confidentiality. If you express interest in working with S&I Insights, we will share an overview of your professional background with our client so they can determine if they would like to engage you. We will never share your contact details with our clients without your consent.

Our clients are contractually required to treat any information we share with them (or you share with them during an interaction) confidential. They are prohibited from sharing your information with third parties or using it other than in connection with their specific project scope.

Does my employment status affect my role as an expert?

The majority of S&I Insights experts are currently in full-time employment and client interactions can fit easily and flexibly into a busy work schedule. Your participation is in a personal capacity and cannot be as a representative of your employer.

What should I know before doing a call (tips & tricks)?

A few things that will set you up for success:

1. Make sure to find a quiet place with a good connection. If your connection is faulty or drops, you may not be able to complete or reschedule the call.

2. Avoid having tabs open and typing while on the call.

3. Make sure to block off the time. Taking other calls, answering messages, or getting in the car lead to canceled calls.

After completing a call, how do I get paid & how long does it take?

Experts typically get paid 3-10 business days after a project. The average is 6 days. Once a call has been completed, expect to see two emails: the first being confirmation of the call occurring from S&I Insights and the second being an email from Dots with a payment link.

How can I delete my account and data?

If you would like us to delete your account and/or any data we may have, please email us with the email(s) associated with the records you'd like deleted.
